Talk about Keno

Another game of chance available in casinos and even in online casinos is Keno. It is a game similar to Bingo and lottery; a game of chance that includes 80 ping-pong-like balls with the numbers 1 to 80 imprinted on their surface. The game also requires a circular glass enclosure referred to as the “bubble” where the balls are placed and drawn.

To draw the balls, a blower mixes and pushes the balls up. The lever opening tube is pressed by the “caller” to let the balls get into the rabbit ears. Twenty balls were drawn for the game and every ball drawn is verified by the “verifier”. Based on the results of the draw, the computerized keno system will calculate the bets and stakes.

To be able to participate in keno, the players are given a keno ticket where the numbers 1-80 are written. This ticket is distributed before the draw then the players will mark an “X” over the number they think will be drawn.

Keno boards differ from one casino site to another. There are sites that allow players to choose 10 while others allow you to choose 15 numbers before the draw starts. Your winnings will depend on the number of numbers you chose and with the amount you bet of course.
