Blackjack for Novice |
Ever played the most widely played casino banking game in the world? Even those who haven’t have surely heard of the infamous blackjack!
It’s the most popular table game in any casino and there are reasons why it is so. Much of blackjack’s popularity is due to the mix of chance with elements of skill, and the publicity that surrounds the calculation of the probability of advantages based on the ratio of high cards to low cards or what is better known as “card counting”.
It’s relatively easy to play and understand the game. Not only that, it can be played at relatively low limits. And unlike most games, a player’s decisions matter. The goal of the game is to beat the dealer by having a higher point total than the dealer while not “busting out”. Any total over 21 is considered a “bust” and is an automatic loss. Learning how to play blackjack takes time, concentration, and practice. Being able to practice the game without risking any of your own funds gives you a big advantage over those who are too eager to play on the big table at once.
Knowing how to play blackjack includes understanding the rules for the players and the dealers. These rules are different for each, and the dealer has much less flexibility when making decisions than the player does.
As with any casino game, make sure you understand the rules. Each different Online blackjack game has a slightly different set of rules. It wouldn’t hurt if you read through them before starting to play.
Whether it be you’re playing at a real table or at a reel one, always keep an eye on your total credits. When winning, bet slightly more and when loosing, bet slightly less. This will ensure you stay in the blackjack game longer and have more opportunity to win.
Good luck at the tables!
